Description of Granite Tiles
Granite is an incredibly
hard and tough rock. It formed over millions of years and is at least 20% quartz.
Granite tiles are great
for construction due to its durability, and are especially effective in places
where high impact, or heavy traffic, might occur. Examples of these places are
the kitchen and bathroom, counter tops and floor tiles in buildings or homes
that experience constant foot traffic.
Granite tiles can all
closely resemble each other, but may have slight variances due to the slabs.
Each slab may be slightly darker, lighter, with less variation or with more. Don’t
be discouraged though; granite tiles come in endless colors, shades and some
even have natural, intricate patterns.
